Beautiful, Summery, DIY Centerpiece

 Now that summer is into full swing and 4th of July cook-outs are just around the corner, I thought you might like this.  I must admit that this is not my own idea, it comes from our friend - Martha S. (as in Stewart).  It is so easy and looks so fresh and elegant
   

Sand Centerpiece

    Light up a table with this sand-and-shell centerpiece.Use candle adhesive to secure slender tapers to the bottom of a clear glass vase. Carefully pour in a few inches of sand, then arrange shells on top. Besides refracting the candlelight for added ambiance, the vase will protect the flames from breeze.

    I love these!  How much easier could it get?  I hope you like them as much as I do.

    This is so fabulous Cinda! thanks for sharing!
    My center table is so empty looking with one pillar candle.. and I had some vases that I was about to donate. Now, I have no excuse and will stop by the beach soon to get a little sand and a few candles to make my own! I will show you pics when done :)
